COTTON POLONAISE w/ GATHERED SKIRT

The polonaise is a long tunic bodice that is bustled at the sides. This fashionable silhouette was popular in the 1870s until the late 1880s. An elegant garment with elbow length sleeves and trimmed in eyelet. An open neckline helps stay cool in hot weather. Please give bust and waist measurement for better fit. Choose a coordinating skirt for a complete outfit.

The Day Blouse and Gathered Skirt outfit in cotton calico has its beginnings as the 1880s Day Dress. We have broken it up into two pieces and expanded the sizes. This is a very good outfit on the frontier or wagon train as well as a victorian day outfit.

The blouse is front opening with mother-of-pearl buttons. The skirt is gathered 3/4 around with a back buttoned opening.
