FRINGED GAUNTLET GLOVES - ( # FGG3 )

These date from about 1870 and were worn to avoid rope burns. Flared cuff styled was based on the cavalry glove. Cowboys like fancied-up gloves with fringe and sometimes beadwork. These are made out of natural color buckskin with fringe.

These have a non-authentic velcro strap to tighten the glove at the wrist. This makes for a very good working fit. If you wish these can easily be cut off leaving no trace at all and giving a very authentic appearance.
